American Record Guide An earlier review … of a Bennett program was very positive, and this newest release is just as satisfying. There is something here for any listener, from the arrangement of warhorse (Finlandia) to familiar fare (Bach, Dupré, Langlais, et al.) to seldom heard pieces (Planyavsky). … Vierne’s popular Carillon de Westminster and Impromptu are done with ease and just the right tempo and flow. … Bennett enlisted a handful of crackerjack brass performers, and the result is quite good. Easily the slickest track is the pop favorite by Leroy Anderson. Superb brass playing with all the pep and clarity one could ask for. Definitely a standout performance. Bennett’s handling of the technical challenges… is outstanding. … Bennett does an excellent job with this remarkably varied program. – Jan / Feb 2005, Donald E. Metz
