The Bach Chorale Singers

The Bach Chorale Singers is a major cultural, artistic and educational institution in northern Indiana, dedicated to the teaching, study, practice and performance of a broad range of choral music. Among its significant appearances and awards to date are a concert with the Paul Winter Consort; a 1986 European concert tour; the 1988 Marquis de Lafayette Award for outstanding achievement in the arts; and acclaimed performances of major choral/orchestral works, including Bach’s St. John Passion and Mass in B minor, Verdi’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 and Mendelssohn’s Elijah. The inspired leadership of William Jon Gray, conductor of the Chorale since 1994, has renewed the organization’s commitment to artistic excellence and service to the community.
