James D. Hicks continues his quest to discover hidden organ music treasures from Nordic composers, and to inspire new organ music from leading Nordic composers of the current age, in the ninth volume  in his NORDIC JOURNEY series.  The featured pipe organ is the 1913 Setterquist pipe organ, recently renovated [2013] by Åkerman & Lund in the Olaus Petri Church of Örebro, Sweden. The program has a balance of newly-commissioned organ compositions with Nordic organ classics.  The recording features guest artists Mats Bertilsson (organ) and Helena Ek (voice).
